Thomas Pickels - IT Services Manager With Global Project Experience

Thomas Pickels is an IT and professional services manager with over 20 years of experience supporting enterprise operations across consulting, utilities, and software industries. Throughout his professional journey, Thomas Pickels has held positions at Accenture, Duke Energy, and BMC Software, where he has focused on vendor coordination, project oversight, and service delivery in high-complexity environments.

During his 14-year tenure at Accenture, Thomas Pickels progressed from analyst to executive. His work spanned financial services, utilities, and government, including managing a long-term engagement with Duke Energy that resulted in expanded contract value and continued service-level compliance. He later joined Duke Energy, where he was responsible for managing programs tied to regulatory mandates, cybersecurity upgrades, and enterprise asset management. In addition to leading delivery teams, he handled vendor negotiations involving contracts exceeding $100 million and contributed to the development of internal frameworks for supplier oversight.

Mr. Pickels most recently served as a lead services solutions sales manager at BMC Software. In this capacity, he oversaw professional services revenue in the western U.S. and contributed to multi-million-dollar service engagements. Outside of work, he enjoys boating, skiing, writing, and spending time with his daughters.
